It's an OK guitar had to make a few adjustments. The nut and saddle were plastic so I switched that out to bone. The original strings were garbage so I put some new ones on. Just putting on new strings made this guitar sound great. You don't have to replace the saddle or nut but I couldn't stand it being plastic and it sounds better when it is bone. I'm not sure if this is a authentic Ibanez guitar or a counterfeit but it does sound good. The description is a little misleading. This guitar was not made in Japan as it clearly states its made in China inside the hole.This is our 2nd Ibanez acoustic guitar. Great for beginners and good for experienced ones. Quality built. Slap in some premium strings and it sounds amazing. Has nice tone and full bodied sound.If you like guitars with flawed finishes, and every fret ground flat, almost flush with the fingerboard, then this is your unit. The frets are also rough from the use of a coarse file. The gig bag is actually a zippered dust cover with no padding.I purchased this guitar as a birthday gift for my son. It has everything you need to start playing immediately. The guitar has a nice sound, although there is some extra vibration to it when he plays. The black scratch board seemed to have scratches and marks right from the factory. Our biggest issue was with the storage of the guitar before shipment. When it arrived, the small black bag was covered with mold! The case and guitar strap smelled of mold also. The guitar seems to have no mold issues. However, storage needs to be improved so it doesn't happen to anyone else.Not bad for the valueWe purchased this guitar for our 18 year old son. It sounds great, and looks terrific. The only thing I didn’t like, is the tuner. It is cheap, and wuit working, almost immediately. It a very good first guitar. A beginner will be able to get a good sound from it, and songs will sound like the are supposed to sound.Nice first guitar for beginners. Came well set up with low action. Tuner is not the greatest, but for the money it was a good deal.I just love the way it sounds.
